About NHC National Housing Company
NHC was established in 2016 under Royal Decree No. 7262, on 8/2/1437 AH to be the investment arm of the initiatives and programs of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing in the real estate, residential and commercial sectors. Then the Company came under state ownership in May of the year 2020, after which it entered a new stage in its journey and became an effective enabler of solutions for the Saudi real estate market. To become a leader in the real estate development sector and enable the public and private sectors to develop strategic partnerships with them. NHC is also keen to provide quality projects across urban communities with modern designs and various housing solutions at reasonable prices that keep pace with the aspirations of the future generation and achieve quality of life, in partnership with experienced and efficient real estate developers.
National Housing Strategy
The NHC Strategy aims for the Company to be an enabler of the real estate supply system by empowering the private sector to develop the real estate market and improve the professionalism of the services provided in it, thus offering broader horizons for the Company in enhancing the sustainability of its business and the work of the real estate supply system.

Mr. Mohammed Bin Saleh AlbutyThe activity of the National Housing Company is mainly based on real estate development and investment in the residential and real estate sector, as it is the investment arm of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing. I can say that we in the National Housing Company, have succeeded to a large extent in enriching the real estate market with quality projects that make a difference in Saudi society and stimulate housing initiatives related to the development of social and economic life at the level of the Kingdom as a whole’ . We have also contributed over these years to the advancement of the real estate sector as a leading sector that contributes to the development of the national economy, diversifying sources of income and assisting the Kingdom to occupy a leading position in global development. From the same national standpoint for which the Company was established to serve the citizens of the Kingdom in various regions, the Company’s role was not limited to the development of real estate and residential projects only, but was also concerned with providing job opportunities for Saudi youth and empowering promising national competencies by sharing the best international practices, which it adopts in the development of housing and real estate projects that constitute an addition to the esthetics of Saudi cities; also, it provides civilized societies that take into account our customs, social heritage and established deeply held Saudi values. We, praise be to God, and thanks to the generous support that we found from the leadership of the State, may God protect it, were able to support the real estate market with major projects that covered large areas of the Kingdom’s regions and met the aspirations of our customers. We promise, God willing, to continue the path in the development of the real estate sector and to contribute to the development and prosperity of the Saudi economy, based on an ambitious vision aimed at achieving a comprehensive urban renaissance, whose features we see at the entrances to major cities through real estate projects and residential complexes that constituted a major addition to the construction sector, through modern designs, infrastructure, and advanced, high-end services that keep pace with the future generation and achieve quality of life as a strategic goal within the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
